A website for women archers, written by women archers. We are based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and our focus will be at the start for women in this area, however, in time, we hope to include areas other than the province of Alberta. We will include sites that we feel are informative and helpful that we find on the World Wide Web itself. There is a lot of information out there ladies, and we are hoping to put into an area which is easy to access and use. There will be an area for feedback and questions, and we will do our best to answer any reasonable questions out there. As this is our first attempt, there are going to be a few mistakes made along the way and we hope you will bear with us to make this a great site.
In this website we will offer information on several different types of archery. Our primary areas will be set up in sections with authors who themselves practice in one particular area. For example we will have sections for compound bow shooters, whether it be just target or hunting. Traditional archers who will handle the area of longbow shooting, and that will also include our medieval group as well (our local SCA). Also included will be recurve archers who shoot regularly just for fun and in a competitive arena. We also plan on keeping you up to date on the shoots available in our area, and hopefully in the future, in other places. Once we get going and set up and more capable (at least me), we hope to include pictures related to archery.
